APs

So I got an email today about the APs in May. I need to register by Feb 14th, or something, so they can order enough copies for everybody. Whatever, like they really need to order them 5 billion months in advance...anyway, it's saying, register by this-and-this date, bring in this sheet, whatever, then it says, bring in $82 with your registration. Excuse me? What was that? Did you say $82? Am I hearing right?? $82? As in, $82 for maybe around 10 peices of paper with some ink on them asking you stuff? Am I missing something here, or is that just the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my entire life? Oy....
