Shmittah

So, again, I haven't posted in a while, but that's what happens when you're in the army and have a girlfriend/are enageged. Yup, I am. Believe it or not. But anyway, I just wanted to share with you one thing that I heard over Yom Kippur.

I don't know how many people realize this, but pretty much every major bad thing that has happened in Israel, it has been either a shmittah, or post shmittah year. Probably meaning that we haven't been too good in keeping it. Let's try to do a better job this year, huh? For my sake at least...?
