Let's Hope It Lasts

The Mets officially now have the best record is baseball.

Who cares if the Tigers played 2 more games than the Mets and went 1-1 in those games, and it's only percentage points that the Mets are better? Not me, that's for sure.

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank you Yankees for making this possible. Well...and the Mets, of course.

Must I have to point out everytime you mention the mets that the NL is the equivlent of AAA? Write back to me when the Mets have to play teams like Detroit, Boston (pre august), White Sox, Twins, Yankees, and Angels.

dani it doesnt matter what the nl is quivalent too. fact is they're still the best team in the league. besdies, we DID play boston pre-augest. and they beat us 2/3. and we all played the yankees, and we split with them, 3-3, while TOTALLY destroying randy johnson (i only say that now cuz i remember it and we always to that to him).

also, we dont know how the mets would fare if they were in the al. the mets, if you havent been able to tell, is pretty damn good. beltran, delgado, wright, reyes, lo duca. come on. they're been incredible. and the bullpen is pretty disgusting too.
